The Valencia Hills WAVE Swim Team is a volunteer-led community program made possible by families like yours. Every parent's contribution ensures our swimmers have amazing meets, well-organized events, and a memorable summer experience.
Volunteer Commitment
Every family commits to 20 volunteer hours throughout the season. This requirement makes our program successful and keeps costs low for all families.
π° How It Works: Your $200 volunteer fee is fully refundable at the end of the season when you complete your 20 hours. Volunteer hours will not be prorated. Family members age 15 and up can volunteer.

Lane Timer

Q: Can I choose which positions I volunteer for?
Yes! We try to match volunteers with positions that fit their interests and schedules. Sign up early for the best selection.
Q: What if I can't make all the meets?
No problem! You can volunteer at practices, help with events, or take on administrative tasks. There are many ways to earn your hours.
Q: Do I need swimming experience?
Not at all! Many positions don't require any swimming knowledge. We provide training for all roles.
Q: Can grandparents or other family members volunteer?
Absolutely! Any family member ages 15 and up can help fulfill your volunteer hours.
Q: How do I track my volunteer hours?
We use a sign-in system at each event. Hours are tracked throughout the season and you'll receive updates on your progress.
