Registration for the 2026 Valencia Hills WAVE Swim Team season will open in May. Here's what you need to know:
- Early registration starts SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2026 and ends SUNDAY, MAY 03, 2026
- Save $10 per swimmer with early registration!
- Registration deadline: FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2026
- Season runs from MONDAY, May 25 - SATURDAY, July 11, 2026

💰 Early Bird Registration $10 OFF per Swimmer Discount
RegistrationRegister early and save! Families who register during our early registration period will receive a $10 discount per child.
Regular Registration Fee: $125 each swimmer
Early Registration Fee: $115 each swimmer
Remember, your registration includes a team latex swim cap, awards and pictures!
👕 Swimwear Order Information
GeneralParents are responsible for purchasing team swimwear for their swimmers.
What to order:
- Girls: Team swimsuits
- Boys: Team jammers
We'll share the ordering link and deadline information when registration opens. We recommend ordering by May 3, 2026 to ensure delivery before the season starts.

EventMark your calendars for our annual End-of-Season Banquet!
When: Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 6:30 pm
Where: Valencia Hills Clubhouse
Cost: $15 per person
This is a wonderful celebration of the season where we recognize our swimmers' achievements, hand out awards, and enjoy a meal together as a team family. The banquet fee is payable during registration.
We hope to see all our WAVE families there!
🙌 Volunteer Requirements Reminder
ImportantAs a volunteer-led community program, WAVE Swim Team requires each family to contribute 20 volunteer hours throughout the season.
Key Points:
- $200 volunteer fee (fully refundable upon completion of 20 hours)
- Volunteer hours will not be prorated
- Family members ages 15+ can volunteer
- Many positions available - from timers to snack bar to setup crew
Your participation is what makes our program successful and keeps costs low for all families. We'll have volunteer sign-ups available through TeamSnap once the season begins.
🏊 Swimmer Eligibility Reminder
GeneralThe Valencia Hills WAVE Swim Team is open to all Valencia Hills children who meet our eligibility requirement:
Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unaided.
Our practice sessions focus on competitive swimming preparation and are not a substitute for swim lessons where individual attention can be given. Coaches will work to condition swim muscles, build endurance, and improve swim technique for competitive meets.
If your child is not quite ready this year, we encourage families to look into swim lessons at the Valencia Hills pool or other local facilities to prepare for next season!
